JIMBAFEST is a raw, community-driven celebration of art, music, culture, and sustainability held every year at Jimbaran Hub. It will return on 18 July 2026. Since its debut in 2013, JIMBAFEST has grown into one of Bali’s most iconic cultural events, uniting artists, musicians, local communities, and visitors from across the globe under one sun-soaked roof.
What Is JIMBAFEST?

JIMBAFEST is an annual art and culture festival initiated by Jimbaran Hijau, the creative developer behind Jimbaran Hub. From its very first edition, JIMBAFEST was designed to be more than entertainment it’s a living platform for Balinese artists, musicians, and communities to express creativity, preserve cultural heritage, and address pressing issues facing the island.
The festival brings together a uniquely Balinese spirit: live music spanning local indie to national chart-toppers, curated visual art exhibitions, traditional performances fused with contemporary flair, free hands-on workshops, culinary showcases, and community-led activations all wrapped in a setting that feels authentically, beautifully Bali.
Held at Jimbaran Hub — a multifunctional creative space surrounded by open fields, jungle-like landscapes, and art halls the venue transforms each year into a canvas for Bali’s most exciting talents.
A Festival With Over a Decade of Legacy
Few festivals in Bali can claim the consistency and community trust that JIMBAFEST has built. Here’s a quick look at how the festival has evolved over the years:
2013 — The Beginning
JIMBAFEST was born from a vision to give Jimbaran’s creative community a home a place where artists, musicians, and neighbors could gather, share ideas, and celebrate what makes Bali uniquely Bali.
Growing with the Community

2024 — JIMBAFEST XI: “Music, Art & Bali Charm”
The 11th edition marked a major milestone. Featuring Pamungkas, The Adams, and jazz maestro Dwiki Dharmawan, the festival also introduced the Crisis Art Exhibition, curated by Yudha Bantono.
Artists such as Arkiv Vilmansa, Made Bayak, and Made Wianta participated, addressing themes like environmental degradation, cultural erosion, and sustainability.
For the first time, JIMBAFEST also implemented a Net Zero Waste commitment.
2025 — “Rise of Jimbaran”
JIMBAFEST 2025 evolved into a true community celebration, featuring:
– Arak Village by Dewan Arak Bali
– Lawar Showcase, a traditional Balinese cooking competition
– Rhythm of the Ancients, a powerful fusion performance blending Baleganjur, modern drums, and contemporary art

Why JIMBAFEST Is the Festival You Must Attend This Year

It’s one of the only festivals in Bali that truly blends culture AND entertainment: Most festivals pick a lane. JIMBAFEST gives you world-class live music AND a serious art exhibition AND traditional performances AND wellness AND culinary adventures, all in one day, in one beautiful venue.

#JimbaranRising: Jimbaran Hub is set within the scenic hills of South Kuta, with open, green, and community-driven, far from the typical tourist crowd. The atmosphere feels like a festival made by Bali, for Bali.
Accessible and inclusive: Workshops are free. Community activations are open. The festival welcomes families, solo travelers, expats, locals, and tourists alike. Even pets are welcome at select areas.

You’re supporting real Balinese artists and communities: Every ticket and every visit directly empowers local musicians, visual artists, small businesses, and cultural practitioners who make Bali what it is not a sanitized resort version of it.

It’s a festival with a mission — and that matters: JIMBAFEST is built around the belief that art, music, and community can be tools for positive change. The Net Zero Waste commitment, the environmental art exhibitions, the community-led showcases — this festival actually cares.
