On Saturday, May 25, 2025, Jimbaran Hub erupted with raw energy as the Me-Rona Island Trippin event showcased two of the most dynamic rising forces in rock: White Swan and Astera. The night lived up to its promise as a full-throttle creative carnival, leaving an indelible, adrenaline-fueled impression on everyone in attendance.
The evening was warmed up by powerful opening sets from Morbid Monke and Hundred Miles, building anticipation for the headliners. Astera then took command of the main stage, delivering a stunning performance that fused gritty riffs and driving beats with energetic pop-punk vocals.
As the night reached its peak, White Swan unleashed an electrifying set that sent shockwaves through the crowd. Fans, known as “The Swans,” surged forward, igniting flares and transforming the Junglepark area into a swirling sea of mosh pits and headbanging—a true testament to the band’s powerful stage presence.
More than just a concert, the event was a celebration of subculture. The creative ecosystem thrived across Junglepark, with Ardi from the Jimbaran Graffiti Community painting a live mural, while DJ Richart from VOLX Records kept the energy high between bands from the Rona Orbit stage. Local vendors like Colabo Cafe and Berbagi Kopi Hub ensured no one left hungry or thirsty.
With over 400 attendees and social media buzzing with footage from the explosive night, the event was hailed by the community as an incredible “melting pot.”
Mahanugra (Nugra) Kinzana, Head of Business at Jimbaran Hijau, underscored the event’s mission, stating, “This event proves that Bali’s subculture can shine on a global stage if given the right platform.”
As the successful kick-off for White Swan and Astera’s five-city tour across Bali, Me-Rona Island Trippin set an incredibly high bar. It served as undeniable proof that Bali’s rock scene is not only alive and well—it’s absolutely unstoppable.
